DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Circa 1903, 8-day time & ship's bell strike CHELSEA model wall clock, serial no. 7209, 8.5" dial, red brass case with hinged bezel with button latch.
CONDITION:
heavy polished brass case is very clean with some tarnish from wear to the lacquer finish. Original silvered dial has some minor tarnish and wear, but is in overall nice condition for its age. Hands are original. Brass case has the same number as the movement [7209] and is also stamped 338.. The dial is not signed, but the movement and case are stamped "Chelsea Clock Co" etc". A very early Chelsea. Ht 10.25"
